What can I say… I was feeling a bit adventurous when I recently tried Teeccino’s Maya Chai! It’s one of their 2 Flavors of the Month this month (the other is Dandelion Red Chai) & I’m totally obsessed with the sweet, warm spiciness! I got this 4 days ago, & I’ve literally had it every single day since, Lol.
I have to tell you… a few years back, I tried Chai (a few times, from a few different places) as I was trying to make the transition to a cleaner lifestyle & I didn’t like it. Like, at all! I have no idea why, because I love most things in it. Totally made no sense to me, but I kinda gave up on it – until now. I figured, since I pretty much like almost everything I’ve tried from Teeccino so far, I might as well give it another shot! And, I’m SO glad I did! So, if you’re like me, you might wanna check this one out!
Teeccino Maya Chai
A stimulating spike of spicy top notes layered over Roasted Ramón Seeds & Chicory, accented with the creaminess of Vanilla. Medium Roast. Organic Coffee Alternative.
Ingredients: Ingredients: Roasted organic carob, organic barley, organic chicory, organic ramón seeds, organic cinnamon, organic ginger, organic cardamom, organic spice extract, natural vanilla extract and flavor*. *All Teeccino flavors are extracted from plants and comply with organic standards.
How I like my Teeccino…
So far, I’ve had this one brewed both hot & cold. Either way, I like it with a little bit of Organic Coconut Sugar (gives it a nice, caramel flavor), a dash of Organic Stevia, & some Organic Milk. If I want it cold, I’ll usually brew it hot first – filling a Mason Jar up 1/2 way – then I add Ice, & all the usual stuff. You can also brew Teeccino twice… so, I usually make a hot cup, & then I’ll also make a Mason Jar of cold right away using the same Teeccino, & store in the fridge for the next day.
If you haven’t tried Teeccino yet, GURRRL… you’re missing out! It’s a non-acidic, caffeine-free, roasted herbal tea blend that tastes JUST like Coffee! And, it’s by far… THE BEST Herbal Coffee Alternative I’ve ever tried. If you want to know how I made the transition from Regular Coffee (which can really be acidic & dehydrate you) over to something like this, check out this blog post to see how I did it!
