DO YOU DELIVER OVERSEAS?

Yes, we do. Wherever you live in the world, the chances are we can deliver our products to you. International delivery is charged according to weight and destination, so please contact us for details (if you happen to live on a tropical island paradise, we might even sail ourselves there and deliver by hand).

Paying by Paypal

If you’re paying by PayPal, we’ll take payment at the time your order is placed. If you use PayPal and need to return your order (or part of it), you’ll need to use our online returns service.

WHY IS AN ITEM SHOWING OUT OF STOCK?

We’re really sorry if that’s happened. We work hard to keep our online stock levels as up to date as possible, but every once in while we get caught out. Sometimes we have a rush on certain products, or occasionally our suppliers can’t quite meet our demand.  This could be because we insist on only using ingredients that meet our strict ethical guidelines, never cheap alternatives.

WHAT IF I AM A RESIDENT IN THE CHANNEL ISLANDS?

Products shipped to the Channel Islands aren’t charged VAT because the Channel Islands aren’t part of the EC VAT territory. Channel Islands residents shipping products to mainland addresses will be charged VAT.  Please contact us directly for shipping charge  and VAT deduction.

HOW SECURE IS YOUR WEBSITE AND ARE MY PERSONAL DETAILS SAFE WITH YOU?

Two words: very, and yes.  We take your security very seriously here at Friendly, and yes, we definitely treat your details with the respect they deserve. Our relationship with you is based on privacy and trust, so we don’t ask for any information until you reach the checkout area of our site.

Our online buying system is safer than giving your credit card details over the phone or buying a meal in a restaurant. When it comes to the point of purchase, a secure connection is made between your browser and the secure section of our website.  In fact, there should even be a small symbol in your browser – for example a padlock – to show it. Depending on your settings you might even get a message asking if you want to make this secure connection.  If you want to get really technical, we use the latest encryption technology to keep things safe – 2048 signature / 256 bit encryption SSL.

The information you give us when buying your goods only relates to the purchase, and any info you send us while the padlock icon is showing will be encrypted. That means no one else can intercept your details and read them.

Last but not least, our data collection and storage is governed by the UK Data Protection Act, and we’ll never share your email address with another company.

WHY DO YOU NEED MY TELEPHONE NUMBER?

Don’t worry, we keep all of our customers’ numbers in a secure database, just so that we can contact you quickly if there’s a query with your order.  Couriers now ask for destination phone numbers to help them deliver your goods.

WHY DO YOU NEED MY EMAIL ADDRESS?

We’ll keep your email address safe and secure, but we like to have it just so we can contact you if we need to, and so we can update you with your order status.  With your consent, we’d also love to keep you updated about our special offers and promotions, new products and latest news. Couriers also ask for your email address to help them deliver your goods.

DO YOU USE COOKIES?

Yes we do, but only to store information about the products you’re interested in. When you add a product to your basket, we remember this information with a cookie – you can simply click here to read more about it.
